I belong to an artist’s group on Facebook that offers monthly prompt/challenges for members who wish to participate. This month’s prompt was to create a “mash-up” of two different characters or ideas. I opted to mix elements of a muppet with a costumed hero: specifically Kermit the Frog with Batman. This 30 second video is a speeded up animation of my drawing process. The photos that appear in the beginning and flash in and out are reference photos from the internet to help me get Kermit’s details right before I mashed them up with Batman.
